NCYG Tryouts – Player Interview #1

At our tryouts, we will be taking time to interview the players to get their feedback on the NCYG tryout experience.

Here’s what they had to say: 

Q. So, how long have you been playing flag football? 
A. This will be my third season playing flag football.

Q. What do you enjoy about flag football?
A. I enjoy the competitiveness, the conditioning for the next season of the sport I’m playing, the friends you make during the season, and the coaches. 

Q. Why did you try out for the Young Guns? 
A. I tried out for the Young Guns for Coach Young because he was someone who started my whole experience with flag football and he’s someone who knows how to bring a player up while still being a supportive coach and helping everyone. 

Q. Are you having fun at the tryouts so far? 
A. Yeah, I’m having fun!

Q. How do you think you’re doing? 
A. I think I’m doing okay—I definitely have things to improve on.

During the tryouts, our focus is on the athlete and their experience. We will continue to post some interviews throughout the tryouts.
