Mavericks and NCYG Shine in Montreal

The National Capital Young Guns (NCYG) travelled to Montreal and enjoyed a strong performance against a highly competitive field.

NCYG opened the spring season with an excellent showing at the Spring Fling Montreal Mavericks Flag Football 5v5 Tournament, held at the Concordia Stingers Dome. The event featured outstanding talent and strong coaching across the division.

Coach Young commented, “The girls played incredibly hard and competed against top-level coaching and athletes. It was a fun day, and the Young Guns advanced to the finals against the CK Divas. Our first test of the season brought plenty of positives as we continue our journey this spring.”

NCYG extends its thanks to Jesse Roberts for organizing a well-run tournament, supported by strong officiating and smooth operations throughout the day.
