Young Guns Shine at Under Armour Pathway Event in Toronto
(June 13th and 14th)
Eight Young Guns athletes earn selection to the U16 Showcase and sweep event honours.
We are incredibly proud of our girls who represented the Young Guns at the Under Armour Pathway event in Toronto, where they delivered an outstanding performance and made a lasting impression throughout the combine and showcase experience.
The Young Guns had eight players involved in the combine event, a major accomplishment on its own given the high level of talent in attendance. From that group, a limited number of athletes were selected to compete in the U16 Showcase — and all eight Young Guns players earned their place on the showcase roster.
Their success did not stop there. Young Guns players went on to win every award presented at the event, including two MVP honours, the Sportswoman Award, and two paid scholarships to the Rising Stars Football Academy Foundation.
These achievements are a reflection of the players’ commitment, skill, teamwork, and character. Their performances in Toronto showed not only their individual talent, but also the strength of the Young Guns program and the bright future ahead for girls’ football.
