Working Hard and Having Fun With CapitalQB’s!
The National Capital Young Guns girls U16 flag football team had another amazing night of practise. This practise had a special guest from Capital QBs, coach Ron Raymond.
The Young Guns flag football team had the pleasure of hosting one of Ottawa’s best QB coaches in Ron Raymond for our second evening of tryouts. Coach Raymond brings over 30 years experience in coaching and developing hundreds of amateur and university quarterbacks in football. Coach Raymonds experience and success is extensive along with his passion and desire to see players succeed and grow in the sport.
Both coach Raymond and Coach Nathalie were on site at the Young Guns practise to work with the quarterbacks trying out, and had great success in helping our QBs understand what it takes to play the QB position. Capital QBs coaches worked with the QBs throughout the practise and our girls benefited mightily. There was an emphasis on building a strong foundation of fundamental skills and knowledge while instilling the necessity for the QB to be a leader.
The Young Guns QBs asked when Coach Ron and Nathalie would be back—I think that’s a sign of how much they enjoyed the coaching!
