NCYG Play Under Armour Tournament in Toronto

The National Capital Young Guns returned from Toronto’s Under Armour Tournament with far more than a box score—we came home with momentum, confidence, and a clear sense of what’s possible.

Competing against some of the strongest talent in Ontario pushed our athletes to elevate their game, embrace challenges, and discover new levels within themselves. Although our journey ended in the playoff round, the experience proved to be a significant stepping stone in each player’s development.

This tournament offered our group the chance to learn what high‑performance competition truly demands: resilience, focus, teamwork, and the ability to adapt under pressure. Our athletes rose to the moment—showing growth with every matchup and proving they belong among the province’s top clubs.

While we didn’t advance deeper into the bracket, we advanced in every way that matters for long‑term success. The lessons learned, the intensity of the environment, and the exposure to elite competition will fuel our players moving forward. This experience didn’t just challenge us—it inspired us.
