National Capital players put practice lessons into action during games with the Ottawa South Mustangs

OTTAWA — On Friday, October 2, 2026, the National Capital Young Guns Gold Team took the field with the Ottawa South Mustangs for an evening focused on competition, development and enjoyment under the lights.

The games gave the Young Guns players a valuable opportunity to turn practice lessons into game experience. In a competitive setting, they worked through corrections, sharpened their technique and continued building their understanding of the sport.

Opportunities like this help unite clubs around the shared goal of improving and growing the sport. Every team involved had successful moments to build on.

The event was about more than just scores and results. It allowed the players to test themselves, grow together and enjoy a memorable night of football.

Sharing a common goal of improving and unifying girls in sport benefited the National Capital Mustangs, the Ottawa South Mustangs and the Drip Dawg teams who took to the field to grow as athletes and as teams.

The NCYG Organization would like to thank Dan Cooper for extending the invitation and helping make the experience possible.
