Coaching Staff Announcement – Team Gold

Over the course of his coaching career, Coach Jim has served as a Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, and program leader with organizations including the North Gloucester Giants, Cumberland Panthers, Diamond Dawg, and Drip Dawg programs. His teams have earned championship victories, undefeated seasons, all-star selections, and numerous competitive achievements while maintaining a strong focus on athlete development.

As a former player with the North Gloucester Giants, East Gloucester Bengals, Gloucester Dukes, and Division A Flag Football programs, Coach Jim developed a deep appreciation for the impact coaches can have on young athletes. That experience continues to shape his coaching philosophy today.

Known for creating positive, inclusive, and competitive team environments, Coach Jim believes every athlete should have the opportunity to contribute, improve, and experience success. Throughout his coaching journey, one of his greatest accomplishments has been helping athletes of all skill levels develop confidence, learn the value of teamwork, and achieve goals they never thought possible. 

Beyond championships and wins, Coach Jim emphasizes character, accountability, preparation, effort, and respect. His approach focuses on putting athletes in positions to succeed, developing versatile players, building strong team cultures, and ensuring every player feels valued as an important part of the team.

A recipient of the 2010 Community Contribution Award, Coach Jim was recognized for his dedication to youth sports and volunteer service within the Ottawa football community.
